Women in Tech Leadership Summit

-Spring 2019-

Women working in tech fields face unique challenges, often including under-representation, bias, and unclear leadership paths. As a result, women leave tech jobs at a much higher rate than men. It doesn’t have to be this way.

NC State Executive Education is offering its first Women in Tech Leadership Summit in the Spring of 2019 to help women working in technological fields build the personal and organizational leadership skills necessary to successfully navigate the challenges they face. Topics and program elements covered in this residential course include:

  • What it takes to lead in Tech
  • Influencing throughout the organization
  • Managing energy effectively
  • Leading with emotional intelligence
  • Leveraging diversity for innovation
  • Design Thinking: Innovate You
  • Communicating with impact
  • Leading change
  • Individual and group coaching
  • Personal assessment

Be part of the solution. Companies that retain and promote female talent reap the rewards through increased innovation and improved financial performance. To learn more or join the notification list to get updates for this program, please contact Dr. Leigh Shamblin – lsbrown2@ncsu.edu.
