Bio

In addition to serving on the faculty for NC State Executive Education, Scott Brown is the founder of Stone House Management Consulting LLC advising organizations on strategy and tactics necessary to build the culture they need to thrive.

Prior to becoming a consultant, Scott spent 20 years in the government sector as the Director of the Law Enforcement Instructor Training Program for the NC Department of Justice. After moving to the private sector, he has worked with teams all over the world and across several industries to help them build a better workforce. Scott also serves as an executive coach using an approach centered on taking actions that lead directly to measurable results. He has built a reputation for straight talk and a no-nonsense approach to his work.

Scott has a Masters of Arts in Liberal Studies with concentrations in Training & Development and Public Administration from NC State University and a bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies from North Carolina Wesleyan College.
