Bio

Overview

Dr Shamblin brings more than two decades of experience in strategic leadership for domestic and international programs in higher education, business, and international service. She most recently served as senior program manager responsible for U.S. support for Kenya programs with IntraHealth International in Chapel Hill. She also has held leadership roles with Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the University of International Business in Almaty, Kazakhstan and the Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise, where she played a key role in launching the MBA Enterprise Corps through which MBA students advise businesses in emerging economies.
