“I have participated in many courses and workshops in India, Canada and the USA, but the Business Essentials program with NC State Executive Education was one of the best things that’s ever happened to me.
When I was originally interested in pursuing my MBA, I debated between UNC and NC State. But my experience with the Business Essentials program and its instructors helped me make up my mind to pursue my MBA with NC State without any second thoughts.
With this program, I was fortunate enough to spend four days with very interesting and experienced people who wanted to teach about leadership. It was a great experience for me. The program was very powerful, provided a self-reflection, and helped me visualize my shortcomings and improve my leadership qualities based on my personal style, expectations and needs.
I was able to get the most out of the program by fully engaging with other participants and professors. The professors were passionate. They loved being with the participants and were fully dedicated to make learning happen through class discussions.
The case studies were real business scenarios, the simulations provided a great interactive learning experience, and the debriefs after each session were valuable and enriching. It was also interesting to get insights combining theoretical and practical experiences.
Overall, the program was life-changing and rewarding, and has helped me improve my overall results in my career and even my personal life. For these reasons, I would recommend the program for anyone passionate about being an impactful leader and adding value to their organizations—whether they are entry level or middle-level managers interested in pursuing leadership roles. In fact, even if you have a senior leadership role, this will help you refine your skills to be a better leader and help you lead by example.”
